About the journal
Revista Mexicana de Audiología, Otoneurología y Foniatría is a bianual,open access, scientific publication and the official journal of the Mexican Association of Audiology, Otoneurology and Phoniatrics (Asociación Mexicana de Audiología, Otoneurología y Foniatría, A.C.). Its mission is to promote the advancement of scientific knowledge and clinical practice in the fields of hearing, balance, voice, language, and deglutition, both nationally and internationally.
The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, short communications, clinical guidelines, basic and applied research papers, as well as editorials and letters to the editor. It is intended for specialists in otoneurology, audiology, phoniatrics, otorhinolaryngology, rehabilitation, neurology, and other professionals interested in sensory and communicative disorders from a multidisciplinary perspective.

To contribute to the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge in audiology, otoneurology, and phoniatrics by strengthening clinical and experimental research, continuous education, and evidence-based professional practice, in order to improve auditory and communicative health in the population.

To establish itself as the leading Spanish-language journal in audiology, otoneurology, and phoniatrics, recognized for its editorial quality, scientific rigor, and contribution to the advancement of communicative medicine in Mexico, Latin America, and beyond.
General objective
To disseminate high-quality scientific knowledge that promotes academic, clinical, and technological development in the fields of hearing, balance, voice, and communication, fostering the integration of research, teaching, and professional practice.
